Anybody else use Filezilla for transferring files

I find filezilla brilliant for transferring files whether between Linux -> linux, Windows -> Linux and Windows-> Windows (and reverse). so much better than file explorer also long file names visible too -- although after xfer file explorer STILL shows these as xxxxxxxx.yyy (8.3 format). When will any of the standard windows explorer file GUI's stop using the old limited API and provide proper support for long path / file names -- (>266 chars) especially now large HDD's of 14TB and more. The capability has been in Windows for ages now,

Don't leave out Macintosh in the scenario. An example of change is going from Microsoft Office 2000, 2002/XP and 2003 to the newer format of Office 2007 and later, the older versions need a Compatibility Pack installed in order to use files from the newer versions. Backward compatibility has always been an issue and some things may never completely change. One of the signs of trying for change is 32-bit Win11 not being offered for x86 CPUs which are no longer readily available.

I use Filezilla Pro to interact with my cloud services, I was using Cyberduck for a while but I've used Filezilla for that many years I just keep going back to it.

I could never get it working with a hosting provider such as InfinityFree. Can anyone recommend file servers that support Filezilla direct uploads?
