Anyone having trouble using the intel driver assistant on Edge?

The past couple of times trying to use the driver assistant from intel, it gives an error on edge but it's fine on brave. Anyone have a fix for this? I have tried un installing and re installing the assistant from edge without success. Any help would be appreciated. TIA!

    Thinking about getting an eGpu for this system to take on the road with us.
I use Intel drivers assistant for my Wireless and Bluetooth on Asus, with Intel, driver utility. But all the other drivers comes straight from Asus. Nvidia from Nvidia. Edge has some issues with info, I don't use 3rd party sites for drivers, unless I know them well, nor do I use Armoury Asus driver assistant ->Bloatware. Be careful, sometimes, the drivers suggested are not up to date, or not needed. Dell is pretty good though for updates. I have always built my own computers. (several decades). Intel has their own utility, so there is that.

There is no fix.
You have an extension that is preventing the Intel Driver Assistant from launching.
Something with the word Ublock or something with the name Origin maybe?

Fair enough. but I have had them on my system for years and it always worked previously. It's ok, I have access via brave. Would have liked it just to load using edge.

You can always temporarily disable the extension.

Yes, I went into orign to try to add intel.com to the trusted list, I already have it done in Adblock plus. Once I do that , I will report back and see if it works better. It's a minor annoyance. As I said, for updates I can just fire up brave and get them done that way.
