I am wondering if there is an app to let you text from Windows 11 desktop to smartphones (iPhone and Android)?

Phone Link from the Windows store appears only to work on Android phones.

You can usually text a phone by the number and add the phone companies name

EG:

Code:

[email protected]

You will need to google what the "@phone-company.com" is for who you need to call

EDIT:
Depending on your phone company you may or may not be able to text answer back from your phone

Thanks for the input.

I think it presents a challenge to do this and I will continue to do it the old fashioned way-from a tablet of phone.

using Phone Link thats built in works perfect however, I got a new phone and it has Android 11 GO Edition, which will not connect or work with windows phone link. So I no longer text from my PC. the only other easiest way to do it is just use Google Voice. Just uses their number but that for me is the only way I can text/talk via my PC til I get another new phone.

I totally forgot, I use to use this app. Don't know if you've heard of it before, but its called
Pushbullet: SMS on PC and more v18.9.1 is the latest I think. Worked great when I did use it. I just saw it on a different forum im in and thought I'd come here to let you know. Good luck.
