Yes I was shocked it came out for my TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS motherboard 2025/12/30 after the last one was from 2023/01/04

Personally I thought they had finished with my TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS motherboard being old and not that popular.
However with my other two ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO Motherboards they keep updating the Bios on them, last one was just released on the 2026/01/16
And I bought all my motherboards around the same time.

So who knows with ASUS
