Solved Asus X670E-E Q-Code F1

I just finished building a new system with the ASUS X670E-E motherboard with the AMD 8700G cpu. I had updated to the lastest bios to make sure the cpou would be recognised. That went fine, all according to the instructions. When I startup the system everything seems to be working but th motherboard stop with a Q-Code F1, and the book says "Recovery condition triggered by user (forced recovery)". The monitor is blank, soi no help from the bios. I have tried a few things, changed monitors and gone from the internal graphics to the GPU graphics - all the same result, a blanl screen with the motherboard showing F1.

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
Have you tried resetting the CMOS? Be aware that will erase any BIOS settings you have made and you will have to reenter them.

Reset the BIOS and try to get it running with the defaults. No sense muddying the waters with a bunch of BIOS changes at first. Get it running, then set up your BIOS.

And do what @BamaInArk suggested. Check the front panel connections.

Thank you for the suggestions. I did clear CMOS and that did not help. I started to pull things out of my system and when I got to memory I noticed that the memory was installed into DIMM A1 and B1 instead of the recommended A2 B2 slots. Everything worked great after I moved them. Windows 11 is already installed.
