I bumped into this program in document folder which apparently was downloaded in June 2024 when I last reset my OS ... and I have no idea what it is.

Right-click on Autoruns.exe, select Properties, and click the Digital Signatures tab. If you see the Microsoft code signing certificate, then it's the Microsoft/Sysinternals utility that dacrone mentioned.

If you don't see that valid digital signature, then it's probably not legit and should be deleted.
