Windows 11 24H2 Build 26100.6584
System is an upgrade from Win 10 performed about 2 years ago.
At some point BFE stopped running (It is set to automatic). Clicking 'start' returns "access denied." Security descriptors for BFE show for Win 10 not Win 11. I'm logged in as admin. Malwarebytes and Norton and Defender depend upon this service.
Considering using Tweaking.com Windows repair all in one to reset services and registry permissions. Also considering doing a non destructive in place Win repair install, but I don't know if that will reset services to defaults.
I'm sure I'm missing something. I am open to all suggestions and I appreciate any help.
