Hi all,

Anyone else seeing battery issues after updating to the latest 25H2 dev beta (Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26200.5722)? I'm on an Asus G14 (2024, 8945HS), and since the update, my battery won’t charge beyond 60Wh—stuck at 99%, even with the charge limit set to 100% in G-Helper.

I’ve tried power cycling, EC reset, and all the usual troubleshooting steps. Battery life feels normal, so I suspect it’s just misreporting, but it’s still odd. I've included a battery health report in the attachment.

Curious if others on this beta are seeing similar behavior. Any insights or fixes would be appreciated!

Regards,
Tom

This article involving an ASUS G14 2024, might help you regarding checking the health of your battery first.

I think checking the health of your battery is a good place to start.

Good luck. (y)
Thanks for reaching out. Turns out just to be a visual bug. Many such reports allegedly have been filed to Microsoft according to Copilot just today so I'll be waiting for the next update.

That is of no significance. It could just be the rounding/truncating the number to 2 digits. The display is ±1% accuracy anyway.
e.g. 99.8 % could be rounded up to 100 % or rounded down to 99% or just the decimal part not displayed.
An insider should have knowledge of such details.
