Asus Q525u sleep hibernate problems

it is running windows 11 home.

I can put it to sleep and wake it up with a key press.
But after maybe 10 minutes, the power button lights up and it is jammed and unresponsive
Then I have to hold power button in till it shut off, then restart PC, it shows Asus screen and login again.

So I don't know what it is doing.

I set sleep to never, screen never, laptop stays up fine.

When I set just to turn off screen and PC to never, problem happens.

This is a totally headless, no display laptop, where the screen is removed. Screen broke, but I found out I can run it using an external HDMI monitor fine.
I mounted the laptop base behind monitor on wall using two dish holders.

Something happens when the screen is turned off, but not right away, as it will sleep and wake for a few minutes.
