I put this command in a .bat batch file then just click the file to run and put the report on the desktop:

powercfg /batteryreport /output %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery_report.html /Duration 10

Yes, I receommend inspecting he battery for damage periodically powered off.

That cmd can be used if the user's Desktop folder has not been relocated.
If the user's Desktop folder has been relocated [or might have been i.e. its location has not been ascertained] then I find the neatest solution is a single-line PS command that sends the BatteryReport to the user's Desktop folder wherever it is:-
PowerCfg /BatteryReport /Output "$([Environment]::GetFolderPath("Desktop"))\BatteryReport.html" /Duration 1
There are other PS, batch & vbs solutions involving multi-step commands.
