Blank icons in Recommended section

Something quite minor but annoying nonetheless.

Sometimes files shown in the Recommended section of the Start menu have blank icons even after restarting the PC.

The concerning files are usually notepad, Word or PDF files. I have most of my files on OneDrive although this also randomly happens with files stored on the PC.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have 'recommended' section turned off so I wouldn't see it. I can only speak from my personal experience with resetting icon cache. First, I run the release build and am not using any tweaking program that affects the icons. Resetting icon cache has never affected my custom icons. I do not know your specifics so I would not speculate whether your custom icons would be affected or not.

No idea how, but this issue got fixed randomly for me. Perhaps a windows update or something.

That's why I disabled showing recent opened files, as you say its a minor glitch but annoys
