I have an app that updates frequently, and the install process does not give the option about creating a desktop shortcut, it simply creates it as part of the process. A mild annoyance, but, an annoyance none the less. Is there a system tweak/command that will simply not allow an app to create a desktop shortcut, regardless of what's asked in the install process?
As always, thanks for reading!
