Blue screen when trying to wake up monitor.

If there are no BSODs after the driver version change the that will complete the troubleshooting.

If there are BSODs after the driver version change then post a new V2 share link into the newest post.
Okay. Anyway, I've found people on both Reddit and the Nvidia forums who are experiencing the same problem with this driver version, so it all points to that being the issue.

Thanks.

Today I experienced an Nvidia driver crash. There were no restarts or blue screens; the PC simply froze for a few seconds and then returned to normal. A lot of errors related to nvlddmkm appeared in the Event Viewer.

I recreated updated V2 and TuneUp logs after the crash.

DESKTOP-5DHSILO-(2025-12-21_12-48-28).zip

Thanks.

I've had another crash like this, with event 153 in the Nvidia driver.

I've done some research and on Reddit, many people have solved it by disabling the Nvidia audio outputs in Device Manager. I just did that; I hope that's all it is.

It makes sense that it's related to the Nvidia audio driver because the driver crash happened right after turning off the monitor (which is the Nvidia output, connected via HDMI to the GPU).

Has anyone found a way to fix this without removing the HD Audio Driver? This fixes this for me but I lose audio through hdmi. Also is anyone who has this issue also using Corsair's ICUE?

Hello, since I was having other problems, I decided a while ago (after all this) to do a clean reinstall of Windows 11.

I haven't had any more blue screens, at least not visible ones, although I have noticed some lag in some games. I don't know to what extent this is normal or not. Also, in the Event Viewer, I see many messages like "LiveKernelEvent event 1001, Windows error reporting."

I've attached the results of TuneUp V2.
Thanks.

The only problem I've noticed is some lag in certain games, though I'm not sure if that's normal or just a game issue. Otherwise, everything's fine.I've attached the updated tuneup.

Thanks.

The settings were modified from default to settings that reduce the likelihood of missed BSODs.
And if BSOD occur the optimal dump file can be created.

The logs did not report BSODs.

The logs reported live kernel events:

Bug Check 0x193: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_LIVEDUMP

Bug Check 0x1B8: VIDEO_MINIPORT_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP

Bug Check 0x1A8: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP

All were related to the GPU.

These were the same live kernel events that had occurred before the new clean install.

If there are computer problems then consider opening a thread in another forum room to optimize PSU.

For now please modify the power plan: Balanced > High performance

The power supply is fine, and it's new.

What do all these errors mean? Is the GPU faulty?

Thanks.

Edit: The only other strange thing is that I had a game crash once.

Could these errors in the event viewer be due to the monitor? I use a smart monitor and sometimes it has trouble restarting, to the point where I have to force a restart on the monitor.

These are event viewer entries.

They do not need action unless there are problems.

Without BSODs it's not likely that they would allow warranty replacement but if there is a warranty on the GPU / Motherboard / PSU you can try.

Again consider opening a thread in another forum room.
