Hi team,
Issue:
I’m experiencing recurring Bluetooth audio problems. Many times (not always) when playback stops (for example, when a song or video ends, or I pause media) and then restarts, there’s no sound through my connected Bluetooth device.
After a few minutes, the Bluetooth device sometimes plays the Windows disconnection sound, immediately reconnects, and audio works again. Other times, audio stays silent until I manually toggle Bluetooth off and on — after which the device reconnects and sound resumes, but it fails again later on.

Thank you in advance

Troubleshooting Performed:
- Windows is fully updated (no pending updates).
- Tested with two devices (Logitech headset and Wonderboom speaker) — both show the same behavior, but work fine with my phone.
- Updated Bluetooth and audio drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
- Uninstalled Bluetooth device drivers and rebooted (drivers reinstalled automatically).
- Ran the Windows Bluetooth troubleshooter multiple times.
- Restarted all Bluetooth-related services.
- Disabled “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” under Device Manager → Bluetooth adapter → Power Management.
- Verified the correct audio output device is selected.
- Performed full Network reset (Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings → Network reset → Reboot).
- Disabled Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator and tested again.
- Checked Event Viewer under Applications and Services Logs → Microsoft → Windows → Bluetooth, but the logs are blank.
Current Behavior:
- Audio output stops working whenever playback is paused or ends.
- Sometimes the Bluetooth device disconnects and reconnects automatically after a few minutes; sometimes not at all.
- Manually toggling Bluetooth resolves the issue temporarily.
