Halo.

Can anyone tell me, please, if there is a process for looking deeper into what may be causing my Bluetooth to keep failing?

It possibly could of started when I had to buy a a new wireless/Bluetooth device (TP-Archer TX3000E V2) because I yanked out the wires when removing the motherboard in my specs recently.
The TP-Archer is correctly connected to the USB 2 header. Intermittently works.

Current driver from TP-Link; BT-22.240.0-64UWD-Win10-Win11

Thanks, I did try that, I should of mentioned. I also tried getting latest drivers straight from intel as posted in this forum. No luck. I think you’re right, might unplug the usb2 header, I believe there are two, I could try the other one. But the usb header does work because the usb plugs were operational before the TP link was plugged into it.
it’s really hard to find a wireless adapter that someone hasn’t complained about. I believe I am at the point I should try hunt down a 2nd hand Maximus Formula VI in Australia that still has the MPCI Combo II M.2 NGFF on it. It was flawless. The thing is, people know you’re only going to by it because you can’t afford an upgrade, so the asking price is pretty steep.

Hmm, I doubt this will help much but have you checked the setupapi.dev.log?

It should be available under the following path: %systemroot%\inf\setupapi.dev.log.

It's usually for device driver installation though but could contain some clues.

I can't actually answer these questions because what I did was disconnect the Bluetooth from the USB header, rebooted, uninstalled the driver/shutdown
This appears to be (obviously) not the only process for removing drivers as after plugging the Wireless Bluetooth back into the header and rebooting, the Device Manager shows no error and says it is using driver 22.230.0.2 (as apposed to the latest 22.240.0 which I uninstalled) There is no way Win11 had time to download a new driver as I had disconnected from the internet.

As it stands at the moment, no error can be seen and the notification tray states Bluetooth is connected.

Since you disconnected the device and connected it again, a notification would have been sent to the PnP Manager to notify of a newly added device, which would then mean that Windows would have checked again for suitable device drivers to assign to that device, it would very likely pulled the newer driver package from your driver store and then used that instead. That's my understanding anyway.

I would have thought the same, except my computer was disconnected from both wireless and ethernet. I had however installed that version (that it likes) previously at some point. It would appear to me at least, that those drives weren’t removed upon installing newer drivers (which i unisntalled) which is a weird behaviour in my opinion.
It’s said “Oh look! there are old drivers here’! and used them. Cheeky buggers lol
I don’t think I’ll update them again in the future, or better said, I should be more careful 🙏
