The driver for the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor installs and says the device is working properly. But when I go to the events for the driver I get this error:

I did a clean reinstall of Windows 11 Pro and the error still persists. Installed and uninstalled the device driver numerous times. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Thanks for your help. Yes, I previously contacted BlackMagic support. I sent system image captures and an NFO. They couldn't find any problem and suggested running the MS Troubleshooting tool, which I did. They also suggested using a third party tool to fix/update drivers, which I did. Nothing has worked. Strange problem. Thanks again for your help.

Using a third party driver updater with a 13th gen system (or any system IMO)is not a great idea. Your mobo manufacturer should have the latest drivers. Have you verified that you have all the latest drivers installed. specifically chipset and Uefi bios.
Does this device work properly on another system?

Yes. I did a clean reinstall of Windows 11 with latest chipset and UEFI bios. Likewise, I got all the latest drivers from MSI, the motherboard manufacturer. As soon as I verified that I had a good Windows 11 install, I installed DaVinci Resolve as I didn't want any other program to be installed that might alter the clean Windows 11 install. Yes, likewise I agree that using a third party driver updater isn't a good idea, but the new install with drivers from MSI didn't fix the problem, so I followed BlackMagic's tech support advice.

I have read that Problem Status: 0xC00000E5 is usually caused by antivirus software. Here is the first thing that pops up on Google, but there are several articles that basically say the same thing:

So I uninstalled DaVinci Resolve and Speed Editor control panels, disabled everything with antivirus, Windows Defender", and reinstalled DaVinci Resolve and Speed Editor control panels. That didn't make any difference either. I also tried adding exceptions for Windows Defender. Nothing has worked yet. Thanks again for your help.

As I said. Have you tried it in another machine?
