Solved Bluetooth Help Please

I want to program my F12 function key on my plane jane keyboard to toggle my bluetooth on and off. I've tried everything I could find on the internet for how to do it and none of them work.
Windows 11 Home, ASUS B450M Wifi motherboard.

I've tried downloading some app called keyboard power keys or something, it won't do it. Also tried some instructions online for how to create a short cut, that didn't work either.

Any suggestions? Having to sit down, click the little task tray icon and then click the bluetooth is a pain when I forget and leave it on.. My other devices won't connect when I do that. I'd like to be able just hit the F12 function key.. or any function key actually.

attached is an ahk script that toggles it on/off. not mine, but i altered the hotkey to F12 for you. i compiled it to .exe for you. create a shortcut to it and place the shortcut in (win+r to open run box) Shell:Startup so that it will run at boot:

Thank you, however,

Windows defender does not like this file one bit.. So I uploaded it to VirusTotal and it lists it as:
Trojan.Garvi.cz and Trojan.Win64.Genus.HTC

Seeing that you're listed as a "Well known member" on a popular forum, I suspect these virus detectors are being a bit over zealous, but I'm a bit wary anyhow.

its because it is a compiled script. most all powershell (ps1), python (py) or autohotkey (ahk) will prompt defender that way as well. up to you if you want to use it, but you can browse the forum and see that i have created dozens of scripts for people with no issue(s).

windows defender > virus and threat protection > virus and threat protection settings > manage settings > add or remove exclusions > add that single file
