It seems to be a power saving feature, because it disconnects ONLY if no audio is being played for the next 10 seconds or so. There is no power saving toggle on my speakers, but I have already disabled it on my Bluetooth adapter. it is also the latest version driver. What else can I do to stop it from disconnecting?

I was told it is better to get updates from Dell's driver assistant rather than direct from manufacturer ?
