Boot device not found

New Hp computer, yesterday I got the blue screen with "Boot device not found" - please install an operating system. I turned the computer off, waited, then turned it back on and the blue screen was gone. Any thoughts on a fix? blue screen.jpg

When you turned it back on and found no blue screen.... did the computer then boot to Windows?

Also... how new is the laptop? How long have you had it?
If the laptop is still under warranty... just take it back and let them fix it?

It's mentioning hard disk error at the bottom, so as Ghot says, it might be an idea to take it back and get it replaced. If you show them that screenshot.

When was the last time you booted into Windows? Did you make or attempt to make any changes in the BIOS?

Anyway have a look at this HP Support article. Hard Disk Error 3F0 boot device not found error https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_3053911-2842957-16

As mentioned in it restore BIOS default settings. There is a video also in that page.
