Brave Browser completely disappeared
As the title says, Brave just refused to work, then uninstalled itself on its own.
I have spent the afternoon changing/resetting all passwords just in case.
Has anyone experienced anything like this with Brave?

A side note, after reinstall all the book marks appeared, but, alas the passwords are MIA except for the new ones I generated this afternoon...I got a clone from May 25th if I feel like going further with the recovery.

I switched to Brave a few months ago on all PCs and have had no problems. The Shield protection is very effective which sometimes prevents a web page loading correctly unless you disable Shields for that site or use another browser.

When you say "then uninstalled itself on its own"...there was a dialog showing that it was being uninstalled?

Have you tried to download the latest version and reinstall it. It should find whatever remains of the old files and offers you to upgrade. Proceed.
