Brave Browser startup

Suddenly whenever I open my Brave Browser it opens to this a brave browser page with no address in address bar and I can't change startup page in Brave settings.

Go to settings--Appearance and you'll see options under "show home button".

Not quite sure what you're describing, but ...

Have you reset back to default settings?

Uninstall (using RevoUninstaller, including its Advanced options) and re-install Brave.

Forum favourite for uninstalling programs

How to use ...
  • Install and run RevoUninstaller
  • Options tab (along the top) > Uninstaller (LH column)
  • Untick "Make a Restore Point before uninstall"
  • Tick "Checkmark all leftovers by default"
  • Click Uninstaller tab > Double click the desired program from the list
  • Run the uninstallation process
  • DO NOT reboot even if prompted when completed
  • Select the Advanced button and then run the process to remove all leftover files/folders/registry entries left behind after a normal uninstall process.
  • If prompted at any stage previously, now do the reboot

Problem can't be solved by Brave settings. Some kind of PUP has been installed, possibly in registry. How do I removed the PUP?

How do you know (suspect) this? In any case, it may be removed by uninstalling Brave. You can but try.
