Bringing back the old right click context menus?

Windows 11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26085.1)
Hi,
I just got the insider preview build of 11 installed on my laptop today (22000.51), and I'm loving it!
My only hang up is that they replaced the right click context menu with a new one, and you have to go to the bottom and press more options to see the old one. I rely on a lot of shell extensions and short cuts in my right click menu to do lots of things with files or folders (i.e 7z she'll intigration).
Is there a way to make windows 11 display the old context menu in place of the new one, instead of having to right click, and press another button to get to the right click menu that I actually need?

So i had a zip of windows 10 customization scripts sitting on my desktop, and i ran the batch file from How to Disable or Enable Wide Context Menus in Windows 10 - MajorGeeks
it worked, every context menu reverted to the classic right menus perfectly, but once i rebooted, everything went back to normal, and not applying it or disabling it doesn't make any difference, even directly adding the reg key to both local and user reg hives still does nothing now. really weird, but still tinkering, may find more who knows

If you enable "Launch folder windows in a separate process" you will get the old File Explorer plus the old context menu within it.

Do you have to do the regedit command as seen here for this to work or do the reg edit manually?
Because I tried ticking the seperate processes check box in explorers options but it didn't do what you're showing here.

You need to close/restart explorer.exe process, but even doing it via settings, it works for me.
But maybe it is affected by something else, I also run Desktop and Taskbar in a separate process.

Yeah I restarted explorer every time I changed something. I'll have to try DesktopProcess, didn't know about that one. Could be both have to be set kind of thing, but who knows

The problem is that that though opened folders have the old style context pulldown, the desktop still has the new. It is quite annoying to have to swatch between the two styles.

I agree the right click menu is really annoying. I need to click Show More Options to do most things when right clicking on a file e.g. scan with Defender, Send To, rename etc. Is there a fix yet for this?

I love the transparency and the layout of the new menu. If we could just customize it by adding the things I want and removing the ones I dont would be best. I have complained about this for years, but I rename hundreds of files a day and what has seriously bugged the rubbish out of me is that the Rename and Delete are right on top of each other. Do you have any Idea how many files I have accidentally deleted because of it..lol.

No problem. That's the original, and then there are a few duplicates of it on this forum, and then there's Brink's tutorial, which makes it absolutely foolproof, but all of them are exactly the same reg hack.

If you check around, you'll find at least three threads on this exact topic here, all with the same ultimate conclusion. But it's such an important issue for so many users that it's likely to continue to pop up and get the exact same answer.

Again, no problem.

1 Open Windows Terminal, and select Windows PowerShell or Command Prompt.

2 Copy and paste the command below you want into Windows Terminal, and press Enter.

reg add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

3 Close Windows Terminal.

4 You may need to either restart the explorer process, sign out and sign in, or restart the computer to apply.
