Solved BSOD after RTX 4060 install

Hi all,

All as working fine with zero BSODs whole month. I had to upgarde the GPU because previous one died on me.

Installed the new RTX 4060 and all works fine. Install the nvidia original drivers. No issues till now.

Then after 10 minutes, random BSOD with message 'bad_pool_caller'. Restarted and all is fine again. Again after another random 20 minutes, sudden BSOD.

I checked logs and there were no direct traces - only generic dllhost.exe etc.

I figured something was not right with my Kaspersky also - so I re installed it - again there was BSOD.

So, I un-installed Kaspersky fully.

Now, ZERO Bsods.

My doubt is - does Kaspersky inject anything into graphics drivers to obfuscate?

Does any one have similar issues with an antivirus and graphic driver?

Please advice - also if my diagnostics could be better, please share your views.

Gather the required logs, zip the files, upload zipped file to any cloud provider, post a shared link to the zipped file into this thread.

Your previous GPU was gtx 1050ti ? how it was died ? and PSU: 600w ? what is the PSU brand ?

It was totally my issue, I had not read the instructions fully. I apologize. I feel present system if good - issue was not with the site. Thanks for this forum. Can learn lots.

When available please post a V2 share link into the newest post.

When you installed the new GPU did you use the DDU tool to remove all traces of the driver for the previous card?
