Hello,

I have attempted to upgrade my wife's computer to Windows 11 from Windows 10 numerous times with the same BSOD failure message of "invalid-data-access-trap". The installation then rolls back to Windows 10. Her computer is German Windows 10 64bit and meets all Windows 11 upgrade prerequisites. I have attached what I believe to be the necessary upgrade log files below . I would greatly appreciate any help or advice anyone can provide.

Hello and Welcome @Mobone51

Attach the setupmem.dmp from the path:
C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Rollback

and the setupact.log from the path:
C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther

If you zip the files they could be attached here.

Thanks.
The setupact.log is not from the path:
C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther

The zipped one is from the rollback folder.
The right one would probably have to be over 100MB in size.
Can you check that again and attach the correct one here please.

Thanks again.

Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool:
Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

Start the Tool.
And then click on "Ja" marked with 1 in the picture and then on "Untersuchen" marked with 2 on the picture.

When the tool finished, there are 2 txt files named: Frst.txt and Addition.txt in the same folder of the program where it was run.

Upload both files on your Google Drive too and share the link please.

Please see posting instructions.
The V2 log collector will be useful for both the BSOD and failure to upgrade.

There are some additional scripts in Ten Forums that have not yet been moved to Eleven Forum.
If you can logon to Ten Forums comment into this thread.
The links will be posted into this thread.
The scripts should collect some the files that Tekkie Boy had requested.

For files to large message please use zipped share links: google drive or one drive

It seems like the MSI installer is failing for some reason, what are you trying to install?

I would investigate what MSI1120e.tmp belongs to and then remove the associated program. Please also remove any third-party anti-virus software and/or VPN programs.
