Little background- if it helps-
I got a email back from Asrock stating the proper placement of the new ram- It's needs to go into slots 2,4-
Switched them- booted up fine- thought BSOD was over.
This am- booted up- and in a second BSOD- rebooted- again in a second BSOD-
Booted again- ran Scan & dism- nothing found
For some reason "onenote could not load- cold booted- as I usually do- It's been solid so far-

The memory should work without any problems is low speed and should be same as your CPU memory controller

The BSOD were likely caused by incompatible RAM or a malfunctioning motherboard.

Testing RAM displayed on the QVL could rule in or out RAM / motherboard problems.

I appreciate you help-for sure- These are the 3rd set of memory chips I have installed- these last with the manufacture blessing- so it just may be a MB problem-
I have been shopping out parts for a new build- it may time to take that a little more seriously- I not one to quick on a machine because of a few problems but this one is forcing my hand. A little over 5 years old- daily use

It looks like both of the recent crashes were related to the svchost.exe process being terminated.

Code:
8: kd> dt _EPROCESS -y Exit ffffe70154f930c0
nt!_EPROCESS
   +0x460 ExitProcessReported : 0y0
   +0x7d4 ExitStatus : 0n-1073741819 (0xc0000005)
   +0x840 ExitTime : _LARGE_INTEGER 0x0

Code:
8: kd> dt _EPROCESS -y Crash ffffe70154f930c0
nt!_EPROCESS
   +0x87c Crashed : 0y1

All of those crashes appear to be interrelated to each other, have you tried booting into Safe Mode to see if the system crashes from there?

Thanks Blue Robot-
I have not tried safe mode- not sure how to do it in 11-
My system often will run fine for months- then a series of BSOD- then not happen again- when not if it crashes again-I post what I find.

If you boot into Windows RE and then select Startup settings, you will be able to access Safe Mode from there: Boot to Advanced Startup (WinRE) in Windows 11 Tutorial

I wonder if a third-party service is running under an instance of svchost.exe and then crashing which is causing the entire process to be terminated?

Good Question
And the simplest way to answer that would be to boot into Safe Mode otherwise you could look at doing a "clean start", although, third-party security programs like ESET will just enable themselves again so you will need to remove them completely using their removal tool.

I dont mind removeing ESET- but there not much esle out there- don't like the main stream stuff- too much junk in them!

I just noticed that you did run the ESET removal tool at the beginning of this thread but it wasn't able to find anything, however, there is plenty of evidence which indicates that it is still installed on your system.

Which removal tool did you use? The official removal tool requires booting into Safe Mode and you stated earlier that you weren't sure how to do that?

Could you please follow these instructions in order to get ESET removed completely?

Which removal tool did you use?
Just answered my own question, you used the generic "ESET AV Remover" which is really aimed at removing non-ESET AV software, even though it does state that it will remove ESET or at least some of it. Please use the tool recommended in my prior post and it should remove ESET for you.

Will give it a try-- interestingly a search shows that many have issues with ESET & BSOD
Also- MS defender gets a pretty good rating-

Will remove when get a chance and see what happens

Okay- Eset free
Using Defender and considering Malware Bytes in addition- seems like a popular combination.
We will see....

BlueRobot- Thanks for the follow up!
I have been trying to get to crash- but to no avail- which is good-
I ran the clone software which would always cause a BSOD- but it did not-
I switched from a studio driver for my GPS to a gaming driver- ran some graphic intense programs- no crash! In the past the gaming driver was problematic.
I post again in a week- and share my lessons learned from this experience that might help others should they come across this thread.
