Solved Bug or feature on Settings -> System -> Storage?

Good day.

Using Windows 11 26200.7462

Recently I have found out that after cleaning temporary files from Settings -> System Storage, If Microsoft Defender Antivirus is checked, it will delete ALL historic data, not only the one not needed or superseded and thus, When you launch Microsoft Defender it says "a quick scan has never been performed"...

Is this intentional?

I'd imagine if... "Microsoft Defender Antivirus is checked"... then it's intentional.
I'm guessing they put that check box there, so you could UN-check it if desired?


But I don't use MS Defender or Storage... so I'm just guessing.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Just ran system temp cleanup including Defender and Defender still shows a quick scan was ran at 07:18 this morning.

I have found out that it was DISM++ that was causing this behavior.
