In patch 3 I focussed on a few correctness issues and I fixed the issue that OAT reported, namely that the script couldn't assign a drive letter to the recovery partition when a network drive was mapped to Z:...

How do I run your latest? That's all I'm asking.

OK, it ran this time, I was using the Preview version of Powershell, switched back to Powershell 5.1 and it executed to completion.
This time , the script found an unused drive Y: to mount and created the partition of 1000 MB with 69% full.
We are good here.

I must add that the original script did something interesting.
It did used the Z: mapped drive which then showed as disconnected.
The script completed but I was not able to reconnect to that drive as the share had been totally removed.
The share$ had to be recreated from the host.

Thank you for the encouragement! I'm working on v48 to address issues where there's a data partition between the OS partition and the recovery partition! My script did do what it was designed to do though! It did follow the four rules of which number one is to never break Windows RE, and it did this! In your case Windows RE is still active!
