Bulk change icons?

Hi,

Now that I have my desktop icon issue fixed I still have allot of one's previously created by Firefox that need updated to match. Is there a bulk way of going about this without having to do one at a time? I did a search on the web but the articles are either really old or just don't apply to what I want to do.

I did have a thought, if I were to switch browsers and make that one the default it will change all the icons but will it change to a universal icon if I switch back to Firefox?

I prescribe icons for each browser, example for Firefox.

I apologize, I forgot that a new installation browser will overwrite these values.
Use in a script for browser installation.

Or use a browser, but don't make it the default browser.
