In our ongoing efforts to improve the Widgets Board, the Calendar and To Do widgets have been removed from the Widgets collection in the Microsoft Store for now. Note: In some regions, Photos, Family and Microsoft 365 Feed widgets were also removed.

I am using "Calendar Dashboard" from the MS Store. The only tricky thing is It messes up all day events (puts them on the wrong day), so I have to set times to get them to show on the correct day.Image1.webp

I just installed Calendar Dashboard. It's very nice.

I don't have that problem you have with all day events. I'm using a Microsoft account. I haven't tried a Google account.

I really want the cpu, ram, gpu and network status widgets that came from having the dev home app installed that microsoft killed off. They were so nice to have.

There are other widgets that are on the store to claim to do the same thing, but whoever made them didnt make them accurate so they are wrong a lot making them pointless.

Why is it that only the weather widget displays on the taskbar?
Even if I remove the weather widget from the widget panel, it's still the only widget that displays on the taskbar.

When Microsoft decided to move the Widget button from the system tray to the taskbar, that wasn't really the biggest problem with the move.

The problem is that it wastes too much taskbar space. I'm guessing they made the space wide to accommodate other widgets, even though the Weather widget is the only widget I ever see on the taskbar. But couldn't they have made the space flexible, as needed?

whoever is product manager for windows 11 widgets should be fired it's complete mess and a joke and it's been this way for years now... The changes introduced in 2024 h2 only made things worse from already bad
