Can File Explorer Icons Show Number of Files in the Folder? I am hoping it is. I'd like to be able to open a File Explorer window and have each individual folder show a number in the folder icon showing the number of files contained in the folder.

Don't think so, usually will be something in the Status bar at the bottom of the window but that depends upon what is selected, e.g. clicking a folder will show number of items but will show number of folders and files in that folder but not the number of files in the subfolders in it and the files in those. Right-click of a folder and Properties will give the information but don't know how that could be converted to a Dynamic icon.

Look in the very last line, at the bottom, of the window, when you click on a folder.
