can i install Win11 in multiboot with my existent Win7 ?

hi,

i have a win7 computer,, it is pretty powerfull and suit me fine but i need to install W11 to use recent software.
I read somewhere there was also some hardware min-requierement, but i don't know of i pass it.
I have another disk with 40GB of free space, this disk is already in the computer (letter drive A: whereas Win7 is on the C: drive).

i plan to purchase the full Win11 pro licence but can i install Win11 and have multiboot ?

Don't forget to detach the Win 7 drive (SATA or Power Cable) before you install Win 11 or you will end with the boot manager on Win 7 drive and Win 11 on the 40G drive.
I suggest you buy a small SSD to install Win 11 on it..

I suggest you build the USB Win 11 23h2 installation drive using MCT
On a clean install you must load a register file during installation.

Indeed, I have windows 7 yes but windows 7 breaks something upon a after install of windows 11 especially upon updating either system

I would use dism /apply-image to apply the Windows 11 image to whatever partition you want it on and then bcdboot to add it to the existing boot menu.
