Worked great until I removed external speaker. Help site suggested I delete driver, which I have done., but it did not reinstall on restart.
Using settings does not show any audio out options.

Since it happened after removing external, i'd start by making sure the right spearkers are selected. Rt click the sound icon on rt of notification area (usually bottom rt of screen) . Rt click sound settings. What is selected under Choose where to Play Sound?

Scrolling down you can also select to Troubleshoot sound problems - output devices

Checking system/sound shows "No output Devices found". If I plugin an external speaker, I'm asked what I plugged. I select Speaker, ask to be optimized., It spins but never stops.
