Here we go again .. .. same trouble as last year.
The clocks in UK went forward early on Sunday.
I've got two W11 machines. At every new switch-on they show the old time (one hour back) i.e. GMT and the Time Zone shows UTC+0.00 (Dublin, Edinburgh, London).
I can, and do, press Sync Now but it is a pain to have to do this every time. I have Settings set to
Time Zone (auto) | Time (auto) | Adjust for daylight saving time (On)
but this does not seem to do the trick. Any instructions?
Thank you!

Fergus,

I have just about the same settings and mine works reliably.
Settings, Time and language, Date and time - Len16.webp

- You don't mention Region [shown in the upper right of my picture] but I assume that is set to UK or Ireland.
- I do not have Location enabled.
- I do not have Set the time zone automatically set, as you can see, because I cannot see any point in doing so. If you have it set & your location is way off then that might cause your problem, I suppose, but you would have mentioned that.

Since it is a fault within a Windows function, I do wonder if you have tried SFC.
SFC - ElevenForumTutorials - use Option 1
If that's clear then a repair install would be worth trying.
Repair Install Windows 11 with an In-place Upgrade - ElevenForumTutorials
This is a repair procedure not a reinstallation, your apps & data files are safe. I always make a new system image & backup my own files before a Repair install.

Best of luck,
Denis

Welcome to ElevenForum.

It's really worth making time to browse through the ElevenForum Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every ElevenForum page [within the Tutorials dropdown list].
- At the foot of the ElevenForum Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
- I download a new copy each month.
- By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
- ElevenForum tutorials are also listed at Tutorials and there's a shortcut to that at the top of every page.

You can search ElevenForum using the search box in the top-right corner of all ElevenForum webpages or using Advanced Search - ElevenForum
You can also search ElevenForum threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:elevenforum.com after your search term. For example,
Taskbar setup site:elevenforum.com
