Solved Cannot open windows apps anymore

When I try to open apps like notepad or photos. it shows this. The apps does open when ran as administrator. My user account is administrator.

I have tried reinstalling and reregistering all MS store apps, updating windows. and icals command

Have you done anything recently that would have caused this issue?

Sound to me like your user account may be corrupted. You can prove this by creating another user account (make it a local account with type of administrator)
Restart computer and login to this second user and test. If these apps work as expected using that account then your user account is the problem.

I didn't do anything, but I did repair install of windows and it fixed
