Cant cancel programme that is downloading

Hi, I started a download from Windows app store ( MyWhoosh) but it never gets past 95%. I think this is due to lack of video memory on my laptop.
I want to cancel the download but nothing that I try from googling has worked. When I power on my PC and go to the app store it still shows this app as installing and stuck at the 95%.
Any way of stopping this download please?
