Hi everyone,

I've been trying to get info off of a mounted .wim file but can't seem to get it right. All I get is:

DISM empty list.webp

Can anyone help me out with the DISM command? Just a note in case it is relative, I also get an Error 5 "Access is denied," message when I attempt to get WimInfo. Not sure if that is why I am getting an empty list for the above.

Please post if you have any suggestions or solutions (perhaps the proper command line for getting a list of provisioned applications in a mounted .wim file.

Kind regards,

tecknot

Maybe you need to include index number for Windows 11 edition you want to list packages for.

For some reason, Get-AppxProvisionedPackage will hang in PS 7 (pwsh) but works fine in PS 5 (powershell).

Code:

Can't install PS 5(.1). It is not compatible. I tried the version that comes with Windows 11 (not sure of the version), but I got the same results.

Hi garlin,

I tried it again in PS v7 using your command line. Now I get different error message: "...it is being used by another process."

DISM process used.webp

I have no idea what other process it can be, nor do I know what to look for if it is in the Task Manager.

Kind regards,
