Can't verify Mozillazine for help with Firefox crashes

I have registered with the Mozillazine forum and obtained their email with the verification string. However, when I click the verification string, the website tells me the connection is not secure and also that the string is too long.
I need help with Firefox, which I have used successfully for many years. It crashes when I try to enter text such as a URL or search query. I have tried everything I can think of, including fresh install, clearing caches etc. and creating a new profile, all to no avail.
If anyone can help with either of these problems, I will be most grateful.
Regards to all.

I've never had a long string in an E-Mail when asking for verification, usually upwards of 6 or 8 alphanumeric characters. I just select and copy that paste that code in the box provided.

Due to my inability to verify my registration on the Mozillazine forum, can anyone tell me how to let them know? I see absolutely no way to contact the forum, or it's administrators.
Thanks.

Have you tried the official Firefox Help Site instead of mozillaZine, which is an independent help site.

Or, there is an option on the mozillaZine Login page to ask for the Activation Code to be resent. Personally, I wouldn't use a Forum Site when the Login Page is flagged as "Not Secure", but that's your choice.

If you were to look at the bottom of the Mozilla Site Discussion forum on mozillaZine,, you would see the notification "You can post new topics in this forum". Post your request for assistance there..

Thank you. I was wondering about the "Not secure" situation and will try the support options mentioned.
