How do I change the date format?
It's current showing d/m/yy in the system tray and I want it dd/mm/yyyy
The method for Win 10 doesn't appear to apply (no format option seen?)

Please can you clarify?
Is this a command line instruction?
What is the value for the UK and how do I specify a format?

Unclear
"in British English, dates are usually written in the order day – month – year"
Maybe this only works in a Powershell session. I'll check it now.

I'm using uk-gb layout/system language, but got it working with "2021-07-06" , ie "long date, short date".
So, actually, can change formats, and through control panel .

Hi there
I think the real problem the OP had was that the leading zero in the date on the taskbar in the day format (GB style dd-mm-yy) isn't shown but is on mouse hover.
