This tutorial will show you how change the default phone device to connect to the Phone Link app by default for your account in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

With the Phone Link app on your PC linked to your iPhone or Android phone, you can instantly access the Android apps installed on your mobile device right on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. Using a Wi-Fi connection, Apps allows you to browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.

You can link more than one Android device to the Phone Link app.

When you have more than one phone device linked to the Phone Link app for your account in Windows, you can choose your primary device to connect with the Phone Link app by default.

You will also need to choose the default phone device to switch between the linked phones.

Here's How:

1 Open the Phone Link app.

2 Click/tap on the Settings (gear) icon. (see screenshots below)

3 Click/tap on My Devices in the middle Settings pane.

4 In the right My Devices pane, click/tap on Make default for the linked phone you want to choose as the primary device.

That's it,
