Changing the text selection accent color in Notepad app

I'm kinda not a fan of the new text selection color (text highlighter) in Notepad, and I wanna ask is there any setting in Windows 11 that can let me change it to whatever accent color I want? or even to the Windows 11 default accent color like it's shown in the Notepad Settings page (second image)?

There doesn't appear to be a setting available for that so far. :(

I believe you can do so in Notepad++ though.

I really wished if that setting was a thing in Notepad Settings or directly built in Windows 11, but anyways thanks a lot for the information.

It's a specific system color but, I don't think it will affect the Notepad app.
The regular Notepad program will pick up my accent color for highlights via the aid of StartAllBack, or Windows Color Control, or both..., I can't remember!!! 🤷‍♂️

You can change text color in wordpad. Start>search>wordpad. Far surperior note app than notepad

You can change it but then its not only notepad and you have to change something in your regedit.
There is no setting for.

Yes, Wordpad has a toolbar to select a highlight colour, Notepad uses system default. I primarily use Sticky Notes and the highlight color is a darker color then the note background for each of the different colour choices.
