Hi, I have got Version 119.0.6045.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) and the download bar has gone from thee bottom of the page, does anyone know how to get it back?
The download-bubble in Flags is no longer there

Same version, same problems: bar is gone, bubble in flags is gone. Also read a lot of stuff on the What's New page that comes after updates, and the Search this Page thing ain't there.
Maybe there'll be another update later today to correct botches in this one. :crossed

Can but help, but it would be better if we were given the choice of which method we would like to use. I do a lot of downloading of mods, so it is nice to see it clearer with the bar

Problem with stopping Chrome updates is that many (most?) of them include security updates, and it's not a good idea to go on using a Chrome that hasn't received its security updates. :(

Defo agree with that, as I said it would be nice to have the choice with new features but then I guess a lot of people wouldn't try them unless they are forced upon them

Put this at the end of the path in the target box on your Chrome shortcut properties:
--disable-features=DownloadBubble

You might need to put the path in double quotes. For example:
"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disable-features=DownloadBubble
