Classic Taskbar Issues

I used WinAeroTweaker (now modified to support Windows 11) to enable the classic taskar. It sets the key UndockingDisabled to 1



This enables Open Shell to work properly with the Start button but the login time is increased signficantly and various functionality on the taskbar doesn't work e.g. search doesn't operate. Why doesn't this fix work s expected?

Two possibilities,
As this is an early development build of the OS not all of the old functions have been recoded Yet for use with the new taskbar
the second answer could be that the coding for the new look of Windows 11 is not just cosmetic, certain functionality may have been depreciated, Microsoft has mentioned the possibility of functionality being depreciated as the OS continues through the beta process

There is of course a possibility that Winaero are still in the process of coding for the changes in the OS, these things take time and Winaero and other developers get their copy of the latest release at the same time as the insiders.

Edit - In your case there could also be an issue with the old code for open shell that has an issue even after applying the tweak
