"Compress to" missing from right click menu

I did the optional Windows 11 update in the past week or so, then the regular update today (July 9th). In the notes it says that "compress to" is supposed to be added to the right click menu. I'm not finding this.

Could it be because I have the program 7zip installed? I'd like to have the option to compress to other things besides 7zip.

Me too, after installing windows 11 update "2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442)" , There is no change in my explorer context menu. No "compress to" appear or added to my explorer context menu. Only "Compress to ZIP File" available.

You’ll could try looking at this tutorial then scrolling to and clicking on the “ZIP” entry in the table and running the reg file.
It may or may not restore the context menu item.
