8) Plan to run the tool with various customized test settings

a) Test all non-Microsoft drivers

b) Test no Microsoft drivers

c) For the first run of WDV select the 3 customized tests displayed in the TF tutorial

9) Whenever the WDV tool is started if there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

Post a share link.

Customized tests will then be posted for the next run of WDV.

WDV can run continuously during the testing.

Were files cleaned?

Somehow the Windows Error Reporting were cleaned.

And the Event Viewer files were cleaned (event zero starts today 01/18)

In contrast the Event Viewer files from the opening post started 01/07.

(11 days missing)

The querysettings indicated that WDV was not running.

The V2 did not report a WDV BSOD.

Please review the steps and tutorial in post #2.

A stuck keyboard could definitely be messing with things, especially if keys like ESC are sending constant signals. Try unplugging it or swapping to a different one to see if the BSODs stop.

If that’s not it, outdated drivers might be the issue. Focus on the keyboard and chipset ones first. And if you’re getting error codes like 0x0000007E, run chkdsk to rule out any hard drive problems.

There’s a solid guide here that breaks it all down if you need more fixes: Stop Error 0x0000007E: How to Fix the Blue Screen of Death (2024) - SalvageData. Might save you some headaches
