Copilot available on phys machine but not VM ???

Hi folks

Really weird issue here -- I get copilot on taskbar etc on a physical install of Windows pro --latest canary edition -- but on a VM with EXACTLY the same build -it's not available at all.

Install on both was bog std via Windows update and the edition is the GB-ENG version.
Maybe the A.I is too sophisticated so it doesn't like VM's.

I converted the VM to a physical machine so it's as far as I can see identical to the physical install -- but still no co-pilot on that one. Conversly converting the physical install to a VM co-pilot appears so if Ms is doling out different things to the SAME USER for the SAME BUILD --well what a mess. A real dogs dinner and that's being unkind to dogs.

My guess is they only enable this to certain machines/users. They identify your machine by machine ID. Probably same philosophy as with anything new. Sometimes only half of 10 completely identical machines will get certain features.

They have probably not enabled CoPilot for VMs.

Is it available in Edge?
