Microsoft has recently sent an email to Australian 365 subscribers suggesting that we get a refund if we do not want to pay an extra A$50 each year for Copilot. I have been doing some checking and it seems that if you only use Copilot for basic help, the one that is included in Windows 11 is good enough. That the Copilot with 365 is more for businesses needing help with Excel formulas and interpreting and righting reports etc. I am considering removing the 365 Copilot and relying on the basic one - any recommendations that I don't do this? I usually use it for basic instructions and help instead of using Google - and also to reduce lemails or reports that I feel are a bit long - but nothing very business-like.

I have Windows 11 Home.

A free chatgpt account or free copliot is enough for most people. Unless you have a compelling reason to keep it I wouldn't pay for it.

yeah, I think there will be no problem to removing this like @neemobeer said that a free copilot or chatgpt can get the job done easily.
