This is a partial review of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge Copilot+ PC I purchased (they have knocked the prices down now)
Processor - Snapdragon X Elite - 3.4GHz
12-core (X1E-80-100)
It came w/ Windows Home & I upgraded to Pro build 26100.863
*I get the feeling w/ this Samsung Copilot+ PC ARM laptop its “my way or the highway” attitude on it working.
The laptop did install several folders that I didn’t want (probably off One Drive) on the desktop from my LG Laptop, before I un-synced it.
After 3 weeks of my testing it, it bricked.
Several times I got: “Startup repair couldn’t repair your PC”
I did make 2 system image backups & neither worked, the d@&$ “Re-image your computer” on it didn’t see either with a message “Windows cannot find a system image on this computer”
The factory reset didn’t work either with a message @ 35.0% of Applying Image, “failed to install recovery file” (& I tried several times).
When trying to install another ARM OS the darn keyboard froze at “Hit any key” or it would when I finally got to start up the Win11 Install (off a flash drive) after choosing your country no Mouse or keyboard working!
So last week I made a appointment & yesterday I arrived at the Samsung store in Glendale, CA (it was HOT & the traffic was terrible).
The Tec guy took the laptop & said he would wipe it & install new Windows 11 which he did + some other misc. (junk) apps. I waited for it & it took the 2+ hours until I got it back & headed home.
Now only the 2 “Recovery” & a System (EFI) partitions are there but they are all empty afaict.
**Does anyone else have any remarks on theirs?
