I went ahead and asked about the Powerball numbers. Not only did Copilot not know the numbers, it doesn't even know that today is the 28th. It said the next drawing is going to be Saturday the 27th.

I can't say for AI in general but it seems that copilot needs a calendar and a clock. By the way, if that was in reply to what I posted, I'm on the east coast. I am on the west side of my state though.

LOL. I was just remembering a time in my childhood when radio was our link to the world, and the interviewers of important people were aware that radio broadcasting had some real limitations. Since long-distance broadcasting was sometimes not completely successful, the East Coast announcers would often repeat themselves, or ask the interviewees to repeat themselves, "once again, for the West Coast audience." We heard it so often in the 40s and early 50s that I remember it clearly.

I was born in 1955 so I can't answer to anything about the 40's and only a few things about the late 50's. I still remember when a TV show was going to be showed in color that they would announce it at the beginning of the show. It didn't mean anything to me because we had black and white TVs and rabbit ear antennas. It wasn't until a few years into the seventies that we got our first color TV. We had rabbit ears a antennae for VHS and a bow tie antennae for UHF.

Yeah, well, that was VHF, not VHS

. VHS hadn't come along yet, for a few years, and then it got into a world war against a thing called Betamax. VHS won, and then, like most veterans of conflicts, it just faded away.

I have a friend that is 97 years old. I do have to admit that he does have a slight dementia problem. For his age I do think he is doing good. My mom so wanted to see her name shown by Al Roker when she turned 100. Sadly she past at 85. Now I'm hoping that my friend Marty makes it. He is so close.

Only going by what I thinking tonight but you are correct. Do you know why VHS won out over Beta Max? .........The answer is (Porn) For what ever the reason was that they chose VHS I don't know but they did and it made VHS the winner.
