copy paste problem

on some websites if i highlight a word to or phrase to copy and paste, when i try and right click to copy the highlighted word disappears sometimes, i have to keep trying till works and sometimes it does not work at all, i happens with text documents as well, the drivers is up to date.

Is this happening with a touchpad? I have seen some very old touchpad drivers behave this way.

Have you simply tried highlighting text and then using the classic keyboard ctrl+c, ctrl+v?

I find sometimes that just the slightest movement on the mouse when text is highlighted cancels the highlight before you can put text on the clipboard.

It happens..., a tiny slip of the mouse before release and you gotta go again! 🤷‍♂️

If copying a whole document, you can press CTRL+A to Select All.
Or if just a phrase, highlight it, and then press CTRL+C to Copy it.
Then put your pointer where you want to Paste it and press CTRL+V to Paste it.
