Forgive me, I tried finding the right sub forum but I don't know where I would put this. I put my Ryzen 5900X in Eco mode in Ryzen Master and restarted. Eco Mode brings it from 105W to 65W. It has this usage pattern on the graph and I'm wondering if there is anything to worry about or if this is normal for a CPU in eco mode to go up and down like this.
All I am doing is watching a Youtube live stream while I browse my photo collection in Windows explorer. Nothing demanding. I was thinking of abandoning eco mode and going with curve optimizer, but that seems to be beyond my technical skill and I'm not sure exactly what CO does other than optimize temps per usage situation. I'd rather have the whole thing just max at 65W. Is this what throttling looks like? Thanks for any help.
